Sexual health check-up (STI)
This check-up doesn’t require previous appointment nor medical prescription.
It includes the following STDs tests: HIV, SYPHILIS, GONORRHEA, CHLAMYDIA, HEPATITIS A, B & C.
When you carry out the study, OPTIONALLY, you can request an appointment to return them with an infectious disease doctor. If you do not wish to have a CONSULTATION, you can receive the results of the studies by E-MAIL or in PERSON.
IMPORTANT:
For the study of gonorrhea and chlamydia, a sample will be taken from the 1st stream of urine at our facilities; 2 hours of retention is suggested (it does not have to be the first urine in the morning). The checkup requires 2 hours of fasting. Culture results for gonorrhea and chlamydia take approximately 2 weeks.

IMPORTANT: If you think you have any symptoms of STIs or if you want to do a routine STD screening, you should make an appointment with an Helios Salud specialist during office hours, starting at 8:00 AM. The schedules listed below correspond to the STI laboratory service. Thank you.
